Ecru Cotton Poplin

Ecru coloured cotton poplin fabric made of 100% cotton in plain colour. Top quality poplin in a comfortable 150cm width. Plain weave taffeta fabric with no pattern or texture in the weave. The cotton fibres provide extra quality. It is a breathable, cool fabric that, although it wrinkles, is easy to iron, resistant and durable. Respectful with all types of skins, even the most delicate. Do not hesitate to use it for the little ones at home. It is perfect for patchwork and sewing, for shirting and fashion sewing. The cotton poplin is a very fine, soft to the touch and very versatile fabric. It also has other uses in decoration, as a lining for other garments, for sewing cushions and other household items. As it is a totally natural fabric, we recommend washing the fabric before cutting the patterns and sewing, to avoid possible problems in case of shrinkage. You can use a 70-90 needle, but check that it does not leave holes in the seam. If so, try a smaller size.
