Purple Glitter Lamé Dot

The purple glitter lamé knit fabric is a fine, lightweight and very eye-catching fabric, with an attractive shiny laminated finish on one side. Its intense purple hue reflects light and creates a luminous and striking effect, perfect for garments and projects where sparkle takes centre stage.

Although it is knitted, the laminated glitter layer significantly reduces its stretch, meaning that it offers very little stretch and does not behave like a conventional stretch knit fabric. The shiny side has a slightly textured texture, whilst the reverse is smooth and softer, allowing it to be used without a lining fabric in many projects.The purple colour with a glitter effect really stands out under spotlights and lights, making this fabric an excellent choice for carnival, fancy dress, shows, dance, parties and decorations. Its combination of intense colour and shiny finish allows you to create garments and accessories with a striking visual presence.

Sewing tip: as this is a laminated fabric, we recommend avoiding repeated unpicking, as the holes may leave marks. Use a fine needle and test on a remnant first. Avoid applying heat directly to the shiny side and, if you need to iron, do so very carefully on the reverse side with a cool iron at a low temperature.
