Our 100% cotton black plumeti batiste is a lightweight, cool and sophisticated fabric, ideal for garments with an elegant and contemporary touch.

It features small plumeti embroidery, spaced 1.3 cm apart, in the same shade of black, creating a subtle yet highly distinctive effect.

With a weight of 107 gsm, it offers a lightweight drape and has a pleasant handle against the skin, making it perfect for blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, party wear, elegant children's fashion and light home furnishings.

To work with this fabric, we recommend using fine needles (60/8 – 70/10) and delicate finishes such as French seams or fine overlocking.

It can be combined with lightweight lining fabrics such as plain batiste or cotton voile to provide opacity.

Its deep black colour adds character and versatility, making it ideal for formal wear, sophisticated looks and decorative projects with a chic feel.
