Reversible ‘Sweet Lions’ Pink Quilt

The Dulces Leones Rosa reversible quilted fabric is a double-sided fabric ideal for children's clothing, baby accessories and creative sewing projects. It combines two 100% cotton fabrics: one side features a charming print of lion cubs in shades of beige, terracotta and dusty pink on a light background, whilst the other side is plain in a delicate pale pink, offering two different finishes in a single fabric.

Its children's print featuring small lions, arranged in a regular pattern and accompanied by subtle coloured dots, creates a sweet, cheerful and cosy style. Combining it with the plain pink side allows you to create garments and accessories with a delicate finish, making the most of both sides of the fabric to achieve original contrasts.

Its quilted structure incorporates a 60 gsm 100% polyester wadding, situated between the two layers of cotton fabric, which provides a lightweight, soft and full-bodied quilting. The quilted topstitching in a diamond pattern holds the layers together and adds a lovely decorative texture, ideal for projects requiring a lightweight structure without being overly bulky.

With a width of 140 cm, this quilted cotton fabric combines softness, comfort and versatility. Its reversible finish allows either side to be used as the outer fabric, or the lion print to be combined with the plain pink for lapels, pockets, trims and other garment details.

Composition: outer fabric made from 100% cotton and inner filling made from 100% polyester, 60 gsm.

Suggested uses: children’s quilted jackets, waistcoats, blankets, lightweight bedspreads, portable changing mats, pram bags, toiletries bags, rucksacks, organisers, covers and creative sewing accessories. Its delicate little lion print is particularly suitable for making up baby accessories and personalised handmade gifts.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle 90/14 and a slightly longer stitch length than usual to make it easier to make up the quilted layers. We recommend binding the edges with bias binding to achieve a neat finish and make the most of the fabric’s reversible nature. Avoid stretching the fabric whilst sewing to keep the quilted pattern even.Fabric care: we recommend a delicate wash at 30 °C, avoiding bleach and high temperatures. Air dry where possible and avoid direct hot ironing to preserve the volume of the quilted fabric and the quality of the print.
