Reversible Quilted Cushion – Small Garden and Pink Gingham

The reversible quilted fabric ‘Jardín de Bichitos’ and ‘Vichy Rosa’ is a double-sided fabric ideal for children's sewing projects, accessories and fashion items. It combines two charming prints made from 100% cotton: one side features fun ladybirds, bees, butterflies and multicoloured flowers on a white background, and the other a delicate pink and white gingham check, offering two different designs in a single fabric.

Its quilted structure incorporates a 60 gsm 100% polyester wadding, sandwiched between the two layers of cotton fabric, providing a lightweight, soft and full-bodied quilting. The diamond-patterned quilted topstitching holds the layers together and adds a decorative texture, ideal for using it to make up items with a pleasant structure and a neat finish.

With a width of 140 cm, this quilted cotton fabric combines softness, comfort and versatility. Its reversible finish allows either side to be used as the outer fabric or both prints to be combined in a single project, creating original contrasts on lapels, pockets, trims and other garment details.

Composition: outer fabric made from 100% cotton and inner filling made from 100% polyester at 60 gsm.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle 90/14 and a slightly longer stitch length than usual to make it easier to make up the quilted layers. We recommend binding the edges with bias binding to achieve a neat finish and make the most of the fabric’s reversible nature. Avoid stretching the fabric whilst sewing to keep the quilted pattern even.

Fabric care: a delicate wash at 30 °C is recommended; avoid bleach and high temperatures. Air dry where possible and avoid direct hot ironing to preserve the volume of the quilted fabric and the quality of the prints.
