Reversible Quilted Nairobi Blue Animal Print and Stripes

The reversible quilted fabric ‘Nairobi Blue Animal Print and Stripes’ is a double-sided fabric ideal for children's clothing, fashion accessories and creative sewing projects. It combines two original prints made from 100% cotton: one side features a modern animal print design with small, irregular spots in powder blue on a soft aqua green background, and the other features fine dusty pink stripes on a light background, offering two different styles in a single fabric.

Its feline-inspired print adds a contemporary, fun and carefree touch, whilst the stripes provide a delicate and elegant contrast. The combination of soft tones allows you to create original garments and accessories, making the most of both sides of the fabric to achieve lovely details on pockets, lapels, trims and decorative finishes.

Its quilted structure features a 60 gsm 100% polyester wadding, sandwiched between the two layers of cotton fabric, providing a lightweight, soft and full-bodied quilting. Sewing tip: use a universal needle 90/14 and a slightly longer stitch length than usual to make it easier to make up the quilted layers. We recommend binding the edges with bias binding to achieve a neat finish and make the most of the fabric’s reversible nature. Avoid stretching the fabric whilst sewing to keep the quilted pattern even.

Fabric care: a delicate wash at 30 °C is recommended; avoid bleach and high temperatures. Air dry where possible and avoid direct hot ironing to preserve the volume of the quilted fabric and the quality of the printed designs.
