Prym Black Safety Eyes for Amigurumi

The Prym safety eyes for amigurumi are perfect for bringing life and personality to your crocheted dolls, plush fabric toys and fabric animals. Their shiny black finish and semi-spherical shape give your handmade creations an expressive look and a polished finish.

This set of 6 amigurumi eyes includes 4 x 6 mm eyes and 2 x 8 mm eyes, two very practical sizes for creating dolls and characters of different sizes. Made from plastic, they feature a fastening system comprising a stem and a safety washer that helps to keep each eye firmly attached to the fabric.

They are easy to attach: insert the eye’s pin between the crochet stitches or through the fabric in the desired position and place the securing washer on the inside, pressing until it is snugly fitted. It is important to attach the eyes before closing and fully stuffing the doll’s head, as you will not be able to access the inside easily afterwards.

The Prym safety eyes for crochet dolls are ideal for personalising teddy bears, bunnies, kittens, dolls and all kinds of amigurumi characters. Their discreet, slightly shiny design allows you to achieve sweet and natural expressions in your crochet and creative sewing projects.

Features: Prym brand, safety eyes for amigurumi and plush fabrics, shiny black colour, plastic material, semi-spherical shape, secured with a stem and washer. Contents: 4 x 6 mm eyes and 2 x 8 mm eyes, with their corresponding fixing washers. Prym reference: 225507. Sold in packs of 6 eyes.

Ideas for use: amigurumi dolls, crocheted animals, plush fabric soft toys, knitted dolls, fantasy characters and creative sewing projects requiring decorative eyes with fastenings.

Crochet tip: before attaching the washers, position both eyes and check that they are properly aligned and at the correct distance to achieve the desired expression. Once the fastenings are in place, check that the eyes are securely attached before finishing the toy. Important: although they are called safety eyes, they contain small parts and should not be considered completely safe for babies or children under 3 years of age. For toys intended for these age groups, it is preferable to embroider the eyes with yarn.
