The black and white Dalmatian-print short pile fabric is an original and eye-catching patterned fabric, inspired by the characteristic spotted coat of Dalmatian dogs. Against a white background, irregular black spots are scattered, creating an attractive animal print, perfect for fancy dress, accessories, decoration and all kinds of creative projects.

This fabric, also known as printed fleece, features a surface of very short pile that is soft to the touch, providing a pleasant texture without the bulk of long-pile fabrics. Its black-and-white colour scheme makes the Dalmatian print easily recognisable and particularly versatile for costume projects.

Sewing tip: before cutting, we recommend checking the direction of the pile and laying out all pattern pieces in the same direction to achieve a uniform finish. It is best to cut through the reverse side and carry out a test seam first. For bags, accessories or lightweight upholstery, it can be combined with a lining fabric or interfacing to provide greater structure.
