Soft Pink Floral Dentelle on Chiffon

The soft pink floral devoré fabric is a delicate and elegant fabric that combines a fine, semi-sheer chiffon base with large floral devoré motifs in a harmonious range of pink shades. The contrast between the transparency of the background and the velvety texture of the pattern creates a sophisticated interplay of raised texture, light and transparency, lending movement and a particularly refined finish.

Devoré is a textile technique whereby certain fibres are selectively removed from the fabric to create transparent areas combined with motifs of greater density and texture. The result is a distinctive ornamental effect that enhances the floral design and allows for play with the garment’s transparency.

With a composition of 80% viscose fabric and 20% nylon, this fabric stands out for its lightness, pleasant handle and beautiful drape. The soft pink hue adds luminosity and a romantic, feminine air, making it ideal for delicate garments, special occasion wear and fashion accessories.

Sewing tip: due to the delicacy of its chiffon base, we recommend using a Microtex 60/8 or 70/10 needle and a fine stitch. For dresses and skirts, you can pair it with a matching pink lining fabric to achieve a harmonious effect, or choose a contrasting shade to highlight the floral pattern and the transparent sections of the devoré.
