Stretch Twill, Aubergine

The aubergine-coloured stretch twill fabric is a high-quality fabric for fashion and garment making, available at a special price for the last few metres in stock. Its characteristic twill weave, recognisable by the fabric’s diagonal pattern, combines a smart appearance with a pleasant drape. The inclusion of 3% elastane provides stretch and greater comfort, allowing the fabric to move with the body and making it an excellent choice for fashion garments.

With a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane and a width of 150 cm, this twill weave is particularly suitable for making up dresses, trousers, skirts, blazers, lightweight jackets and outfits, as well as other garments where the aim is to combine drape, structure and comfort.

Sewing tip: before cutting, we recommend checking the direction of greatest stretch to position it correctly on the sewing pattern. Use a needle suitable for fabrics containing elastane and carry out a test stitch and ironing on a fabric remnant first.
