Unbleached Satin Triacetate

The unbleached triacetate satin fabric is a high-quality fabric with a beautiful drape and an elegant, sophisticated finish. It features a satin face with a delicate sheen and a matt reverse in the same shade, allowing both sides to be used to create interesting textural contrasts within a single garment.

Its composition of 51% triacetate and 49% polyester provides an excellent combination of drape, body, strength and stability. With a weight of 300 gsm, it is a fabric with substance yet fluid movement, perfect for garments seeking an elegant silhouette and a refined finish.The unbleached colour is a light, warm and natural shade, ideal for those seeking a softer alternative to white. The satin-finish fabric adds delicate sheen and enhances the fabric’s luminosity, achieving a refined and timeless aesthetic particularly suited to wedding dresses, formal wear, communion dresses and party outfits.

With a width of 145 cm, this unbleached triacetate satin is ideal for making up dresses, blouses, skirts, smart trousers, tops, jumpsuits and formal wear. Its combination of body and drape allows for fluid, draped designs, pleats and sewing patterns with volume or more defined silhouettes.

Sewing tip: we recommend using a fine Microtex 70/10 or 80/12 needle and sharp cutting tools to prevent snagging. As this is a light-coloured fabric, work on a clean surface to avoid stains or marks whilst making up. Iron preferably on the reverse side, at a low temperature and using a protective woollen cloth. Always carry out a test on a remnant first.
