Unbleached Wool Tweed

The unbleached woollen tweed fabric is an elegant and timeless fabric, ideal for making up fashionable garments with a natural and sophisticated style. Its warm, neutral ecru shade enhances the characteristic texture of tweed and pairs easily with a wide range of colours.

Its composition of 50% wool, 30% viscose fabric and 20% polyester combines the warmth and characteristic look of wool with the softness of viscose fabric and the durability provided by polyester. It has a width of 145 cm, a highly versatile measurement for various sewing projects.

It stands out for its soft, velvety feel on one side, which feels lovely to the touch and provides a refined, comfortable finish. A plain unbleached tweed, perfect for creating elegant autumn and winter garments, whether classically or contemporarily inspired.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle 80/12 or 90/14 depending on the thickness and number of layers. To preserve its velvety finish, iron it preferably on the reverse, at a temperature suitable for wool fabrics and taking care not to apply too much pressure.
