Violet Satin Triacetate

The violet triacetate satin fabric is a high-quality fabric with a beautiful drape and an elegant, sophisticated finish. It features a satin-finish face with a delicate sheen and a matt reverse in the same shade, allowing you to make the most of both finishes to create garments with interesting textural contrasts.

Its composition of 51% triacetate and 49% polyester offers an excellent combination of drape, body, strength and stability. With a weight of 300 gsm, it is a fabric with substance yet a fluid movement that is particularly well-suited to designs with elegant lines.

The violet colour takes on a particular depth on the satin-finish surface, creating subtle variations in sheen and tone depending on how the light falls. An intense and sophisticated colour, perfect for making up garments with character, suitable for both celebrations and special occasions.

With a width of 145 cm, this violet triacetate satin is ideal for making up dresses, blouses, skirts, smart trousers, tops, jumpsuits and party wear. Its combination of full-bodied drape allows you to create both fluid designs and sewing patterns that require a slightly more defined silhouette.

Suggested uses: party and formal dresses, dresses with a length of 50 inches or more, elegant blouses, skirts, dress trousers, jumpsuits, tops and garments for special occasions.

Sewing tip: we recommend using a fine Microtex 70/10 or 80/12 needle and sharp cutting tools to prevent snagging. Iron preferably on the reverse side, at a low temperature and using a protective woollen cloth to preserve the satin-finish finish. Always carry out a test of sewing and ironing on a remnant of fabric first.
