HOW MANY METERS OF FABRIC DO I NEED?
DETAILS
The Multicoloured Abstract Brushstrokes viscose knit fabric stands out for its original, artistically inspired print, consisting of irregular splashes and brushstrokes that overlap to create an attractive painterly effect. Its combination of navy blue, orange, terracotta, mustard and beige shades provides contrast, warmth and dynamism, resulting in a contemporary design with plenty of character.
Made from 95% viscose and 5% elastane, this knitted fabric has a soft, fine and pleasant handle, with a lovely fluid drape and excellent stretch. Its two-way stretch allows the fabric to mould comfortably to the body and move with it, making it ideal for both loose-fitting garments and more fitted designs.
With a width of 145 cm, this printed viscose knit fabric is perfect for making up comfortable, lightweight and flattering garments, making the most of the fabric’s fluidity to enhance the movement of its abstract pattern.
Suggested uses: dresses, T-shirts, blouses, skirts, jumpsuits, fluid trousers, lightweight leggings, casual wear and women’s fashion garments.
Sewing tip: use a ballpoint (Jersey) needle, size 75/11 or 80/12, and a stretch or overlock stitch to preserve the fabric’s stretch. When cutting, lay the fabric flat without stretching it and use weights if necessary to prevent it from shifting. We recommend ironing on reverse at a low temperature.
