Black Water-Repellent Oxford Cloth

The water-repellent black Oxford fabric is a technical fabric made from 100% polyester that combines durability, lightness and the ability to repel water. Its characteristic Oxford cloth weave provides good wear resistance, whilst the black colour offers an understated, modern and highly versatile finish, making it particularly practical for accessories and projects involving frequent use.

Thanks to its water-repellent finish, water droplets tend to remain on the surface and roll off rather than being quickly absorbed by the fabric. This feature also makes it easy to maintain and clean, making it a practical choice for garments occasionally exposed to moisture.

Important: water-repellent does not mean completely waterproof. The fabric offers protection against water and moisture, but the sewing and prolonged exposure or pressure may allow water to pass through.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle or a needle for synthetic fabrics (80/12 or 90/14), depending on the number of layers. Avoid making unnecessary holes and seams, as the holes made by the needle can reduce water protection in those areas.
