Water-repellent Grey Oxford cloth

The water-repellent grey Oxford fabric is a technical fabric made from 100% polyester that combines durability, lightness and the ability to repel water. Its characteristic Oxford cloth provides good durability, whilst the grey colour offers a modern, neutral and highly versatile finish, easy to combine in both outdoor projects and everyday accessories.

Thanks to its water-repellent finish, water droplets tend to remain on the surface and roll off rather than being quickly absorbed by the fabric. This feature also makes it easy to maintain and clean, making it particularly practical for items subject to frequent use.

Important: water-repellent does not mean completely waterproof. The fabric offers protection against water and moisture, but the sewing and prolonged exposure or pressure may allow water to pass through.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle or a needle for synthetic fabrics (80/12 or 90/14), depending on the number of layers. Try to avoid unnecessary punctures and seams, as holes made by the needle can reduce water protection in those areas.
