Waterproof knitted jumper with car print

The Waterproof Car-Printed Jersey is a technical fabric perfect for making water-resistant garments and accessories with a fun, child-friendly design. Its print features various construction and emergency vehicles, such as fire engines, tow trucks, diggers, road rollers and traffic signs, in cheerful shades of blue, green, yellow and orange against a modern anthracite grey background. An ideal design for little ones and for projects brimming with colour and originality.

It is made from a blend of 60% polyester and 40% polyurethane. Its polyester knitted base is coated with a thin layer of polyurethane that provides total waterproofing against rain, offering excellent water resistance thanks to its low vapour transmission.

With a weight of 210 g/m² and a width of 130 cm, this fabric combines flexibility, durability and comfort, making it ideal for making everyday garments and accessories that require protection against moisture.

Suggested uses: children’s rain jackets, waterproof dungarees, rain capes, rucksacks, toiletries bags, nappy changing mats, bibs, covers, bags, aprons and waterproof DIY projects.

Sewing tip: use a Microtex 80/12 or universal needle, polyester thread and a Teflon or dual-feed presser foot to help the fabric glide smoothly. For garments requiring maximum water protection, we recommend sealing the seams with waterproof tape.
