Waterproof Floral Print Knit

The Waterproof Floral Print Knit is a technical fabric that combines functionality and design thanks to its cheerful print of small flowers in shades of coral, pastel green, lilac and pink against an elegant greyish-blue background. A fresh and carefree design, perfect for making rain-resistant garments and accessories without compromising on style.

It is made from a blend of 50% polyester and 50% polyurethane, with a polyester knitted base coated with a thin layer of polyurethane that provides total waterproofing. Its low water vapour transmission allows it to withstand varying levels of pressure, making it an ideal fabric for protection against rain and damp.

With a weight of 230 g/m² and a width of 135 cm, it offers excellent strength and stability, making it perfect for creating durable outdoor garments and accessories.

Suggested uses: rain jackets, children’s and adult raincoats, rain capes, dungarees, rucksacks, toiletries bags, bags, aprons, covers, baby changing mats and all kinds of water-resistant DIY projects.

Sewing tip: use a microtex or universal needle 80/12, polyester thread and a Teflon or dual-feed presser foot to help the fabric glide smoothly. To maintain waterproofing, it is recommended to avoid unnecessary perforations and, if necessary, to seal the seams on garments exposed to heavy rain.
