Yellow Rayon Ponte Roma Knit

The yellow rayon and elastane Ponte Roma knit fabric is a compact, elastic knit that combines body, softness and comfort. Its Ponte Roma-style structure offers greater consistency than a conventional fine knit, whilst maintaining the flexibility needed to make up comfortable garments that fit the body well.

With a composition of 65% rayon, 30% nylon and 5% elastane and a weight of 250 gsm, it is of medium weight with good drape and stability. Its elastic component provides stretch and aids the fabric’s recovery, a particularly practical feature for fitted garments or designs that need to move with the body.

Its width of 160 cm allows for excellent use in making up garments. The yellow colour adds brightness and personality, making it ideal for trousers, dresses, skirts and knitted outfits, whether plain or combined with neutral tones.

Suggested uses: knitted trousers, dresses, skirts, knitted blazer-style jackets, high-waisted leggings, fitted garments, outfits, structured tops and other comfortable garments.

Sewing tip: use a Stretch or Jersey needle 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch or narrow zigzag stitch to preserve the stretch of the seams. For hems and visible topstitching, a twin needle for knits can provide a neat and professional finish.

Care instructions: machine wash at a maximum of 30 ºC on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach or tumble dry. It is recommended to wash inside out, avoid vigorous spinning and air dry. Iron on reverse at a low temperature. For garment construction, we recommend pre-washing before cutting to prevent any dimensional changes in the fabric.
